Hola
CHOIR CAMP DAY 2 Woke up at 5.30am+++ PT was the first activity. Really tiring. 15 green bottles anyone? -Breakfast (yay)- Then was the best activity - Amazing Race!!! It was SUPER Fun. First clue: No body contact. Our clue was in ICE! We could not touch the ice or the container. So we used our water bottles and poured water on the ice. Soon, our ice somehow cracked in half and we got our clue. (3rd place) Second clue: Go to the field. [Roadblock - Only 2 people could perform the task] When we got there, we were told to find a 10 cent coin hidden in the field!!! We soon found out that we were stepping on the coin, lol we got it quickly. (4th place) Third clue: "I go here every morning unless it is raining" Parade Square, of course! We (3 groups) worked together and found the clue somewhere in the Parade Square. (still 4th place) Fourth clue: [Detour - Choose 1 of the 2 tasks] Air or Water. Air: Go to the skybridge Water: Go to the school pond We chose Air. Clue : Make me fly. It took us so long to figure that out. Each time we had 1 wrong guess, we get a forfeit. Soon, it was easier than we thought. All me needed to do was to write "me" on a piece of paper and fold it into a paper plane. Duh. Penalties: Running, 10 green bottles, 30 push-ups, sing "There was a Stream" and more. (Still forth place) Fifth Clue: #Room number# I can't really remember the room number, but we knew it was the Music Room. There, we had to wait for the 3 groups in front of us to finish the task. The task was to translate a sentence into some language they taught us. It was tricky, but we still solved it. (4th) Sixth clue: 2 task: 'Fun' & 'Torture'. We did torture first. We had to do 50 pull-ups in total, or 50 points. 2 points if you do one yourself, 1 point if someone held your leg. For the other task, we tied our lwga together and walk. We worked out a systematic kind of solution. Here, we finished 4th. -Lunch- (but I didn't really ate. I lost my water bottle and was looking for it.hehe) Then, since it was raining, we played Twister in the room. :) After it stopped, or sort of stopped, we continued! Seventh Clue: (At East Coast Park now) [There were 11 "H23O"s spammed on the paper] 3 looks like a crack, or break, and H20 is water. So the place is a BreakWater, you know, those clumps of rocks at the shore? Yeah, my team had trouble looking for it, so we dropped to fifth!!! Eight Clue: This time, things got real messy!! We had to look for a Soya Bean can around the breakwater in the sand!!! All 7 groups were stuck here. And the tables turned for the last group. They found the can first!!! And for our group, we found the WRONG can. A Coca-Cola can. So we were punished, but were allowed to advance through. 30 Green Bottles. Crazy Nineth Clue: (It was a word passage, with the words all mixed up. We had to read it backwards whilst unsrambling the words.)This is the Phrase, which contains a hidden location: "A hawk erupted from the trees and swooped down from the sky on the innocent reaffix prey" (or something like that) Noticed the bold words form hawker center? So we went there, and became first!!! Tenth clue: Write down the names of all 62 stalls... By the time we finished, the other group catch up and became first again. (so we're 2nd) Eleven clue: Go to the nearest bicycle kiosk. We (both groups) went there and realised our next task was to sing the VS Anthem while walking on the Stepping Stones. OUCH. Twelve clue: The other group was still first. Next, we had to see our music teacher, Mr Aw Yong. He told the first group to mime the VS Anthem. For our group, we had to translate 2 verses into out Mother Tounge Language. Tough. Thirteenth Clue: Phew, getting tiring reading all this? Imagine having to do the whole thing. We were given a code number: "ZAA###720" Couldn't remember the 3 numbers in #. We soon found out that it's a Fire Extinguisher number. Yes, how many are there in our school?? But we were given a picture of that Fire Ext, We knew it was one of the MT rooms. Finally, we saw that it was on the 7th floor. By then, a member from the first group was there. good thing was that we arrived there first, so we could move on. FINAL!!! CLue: Write down the locations of where we had been for the whole race. The other group finished first... So we were 2nd. Not to bad, though we lost by a few seconds. -admin time + dinner- By the way, dinner was a BBQ, utra fun. Next, we had a movie. Horror movie. Rated NC16 for Violence and GORE. but I still watched it. Then, we had supped before sleeping. |
