SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW

SYF was today :P

In the morning after we left VS, we arrived in Victorira Concert Hall. We heard other choirs sing and most of them were actually quite good. I was nervous before our performance but was fine during the real thing.

So we gave our best shot, proved to them that we are the best :)

However, we made some minor errors, such as going sharp at certain places. Thus, we were quite nervous about the results. Still, we were confident in ourselves.

During the 6 hours break between our performance to the results, I went with some friends to Burger King and ate :P

Then, we moved to Suntec City, window shopping at certain points. :D

We went to caffoure and other places.

So on our way back, we were starting to get anxious yet happy. We are happy this competition is over and had enjoyed ourselves throughout, but what about the results?

We were in the waiting room. Silence. The announcer made a speech first. As she announced the results, the suspense was overwhelming... Then, it came to us...

"Choir #21 - Victoria School..."

I froze at this point.

"Choir #21 - Victoria School"

She repeated it again. I was stunned for a while, but then got back to "serious" mode.

"Gold with honours"

Woohoo~ The whole choir was screaming and cheering. We were actually not supposed to make too much noise, but we were too excited and happy...
